The chert and brick work are in line with other similar properties in the area and from the prime location you have views and access to the dramatic and spellbinding Dorset countryside and coastline. The front door opens to a centrally positioned open-plan sitting room kitchen and dining room that feels bigger on the inside than it looks like it might. With classic wooden flooring throughout two comfortable two-seater sofas and a four-seater dining table there are plenty of areas to sit and chill or socialise. Though the kitchen area may be small it is functional and includes the mod-cons and white goods you d expect. The bedrooms are located at either end of the open plan living space with the master double bedroom and en-suite accessible via small but quaint steps. The en-suite has a shower over the bath and a basin and toilet. At the other end of the property there is a twin with the second bathroom slightly further along with a shower and toilet. Not recommended for younger children due to the steep cottage style stairs younger children have stayed before, however, they need to be aware of the steep staircase which has no stair gates and there is a low sash window in the Master bedroom.

Situated in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth this charming gated holiday complex contains a number of cosy cottages converted from former farm buildings. The lovely Charmouth beach is within walking distance and the property s great location means the local pubs and shops are also just a short walk from your door ideal for picking up the morning paper and more. A short drive or bus ride away is the wonderful town of Lyme Regis which offers a beautiful unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that line the promenade in the summer. The Jurassic coastline has been designated as England s first Natural World Heritage Site and spans 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline taking in some of the very finest walks and views available. There are many other attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few. Upon entering the cottage you will be met with a spacious entrance hall leading to the lounge/diner area which has comfy sofas a TV and DVD. There is ample room around the dining table to enjoy leisurely meals and French doors from this room open on to the outside patio area. The kitchen includes an electric oven gas hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room containing a washer/dryer. Completing the ground floor is a wet room with a shower and WC. Heading upstairs there are two bedrooms firstly a Master double bedroom with a king-size bed and TV and also a triple bedroom containing three single beds. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside is an enclosed patio area with a table and chairs. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year please refer to the need to know section for details) Char Valley Café which serves speciality teas and coffees and a shared outdoor children s play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club including a gym indoor pool sauna and steam room. Situated on a steep secluded lane which leads to a small nature reserve this pretty semi-detached cottage is nestled in the idyllic village of Charmouth and is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Charmouth Beach is just half a mile away and is the best fossil-hunting beach in the county. Lyme Regis is nearby and is famous for its links to Jane Austen and Henry Fielding. You can visit the 13th century Cobb Harbour or sample the town s great range of independent shops pubs and restaurants. Further along the coast are several glorious beaches including Eype (8 miles) West Bay (9.5 miles) and Hive Beach (11 miles). You can also explore Golden Cap (5 miles) or venture inland to delightful towns including Bridport (8 miles) and Beaminster (14.5 miles). On entering this pretty cottage you can leave coats and boots in the hall and go through to the light and attractive lounge. With plenty of seating TV/DVD iPod dock and a wood burner set in a large beamed inglenook this is an ideal place to relax in at the end of a great day. You will also find a charming dining area which is perfect for sharing a family meal. The bright and stylish kitchen is equipped with an oven fridge freezer microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is stored in an outhouse accessed via six steps. There is also a delightful sunroom to relax in with seating and views across the garden. Going upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor. Firstly there is spacious dual aspect double bedroom with a king-size bed pretty window seat and a TV and also a single bedroom. Both bedrooms have far reaching countryside views. Completing the first floor is the bathroom which has a shower over the small bath and a WC.
