From the cottage, walk a few hundred yards and you can take your kayak, windsurfer or canoe out on the lake (cannot be accessed directly from the house), or you might prefer a bike ride through the stunning scenery that this area has to offer.The owner is a keen cyclist herself, and there is a shed suitable for bike storage, kayaks or other outdoor kit in the garden. From here, you could take a trip out to the beautiful villages of Beddgelert and Rhyd Ddu - from Rhyd Ddu you can climb Snowdon (this is one of the more challenging routes, so be warned).The delightful sitting/dining room has a multi fuel stove, two sofas, TV with DVD, dining table and chairs and a piano for those of you who like to tinkle a tune!
