Poet's Corner is a wonderful, end-terraced holiday home in the popular, historic Georgian market town of Holt. The property is Grade II listed and one of the oldest in the town, yet despite having being wonderfully renovated, it still retains many of its delightful, period features. There are four bedrooms; two double rooms, a single bedroom and a room with adult bunk beds, plus a shower room. Downstairs, there is an open plan living space with a kitchen, a dining area opening into the small, gravel garden, as well as a sitting area with a cosy woodburner. Outside, the garden has furniture where you can enjoy meals in the summer and there is also a parking permit provided for one car in the church car park over the road. With Norfolk's heritage coastline so close, as well as many heritage houses and country parks to explore, Poet's Corner is a wonderful family destination.

The village of Saxlingham where this cottage is situated is a wonderfully peaceful part of the world surrounded by rolling countryside and perfect for enjoying scenic walks and cycle rides. Those with an interest in history or architecture may like to pop into the village church which has some fine examples of stained glass windows dating as far back as the 13th century. 4 miles to the east of the village the market town of Holt is a great place to spend an afternoon wandering round the shops and stopping for lunch in one of the numerous eateries whilst the North Norfolk coast with its beaches harbour villages and wildlife reserves can also be reached within a 4-mile drive. Stepping inside this former schoolhouse for the first time guests will immediately gain a sense of the property s history. The main living area extends to 30 and has a high beamed ceiling which has been beautifully maintained by the owners.
